I used to love really cold mornings when we had frosts In the eighties and my mom bless her used to bring the milk 'in bottles' from the doorstep and literally the cream had knocked the foil tops off lol. My childhood was a 'Happy one'. X😊

I always shake the milk. Before I started 1st grade, I'd go with mom to the dairy just outside our little town. I was fascinated by all the cows and milking machines, and loved watching the farmer pour a big bucket of milk through the pasteurizer.

I can close my eyes and remember the smell of that place.
