Wasn’t the drug test from way before than this Olympic? Athletes don’t get permission to compete if the drug test is positive in the Olympics in the first place. So the fact that she was already cleared, she’s not doing doping at least in this Olympics. News and articles need to be more fact based, timeline based, clear and we shouldn’t judge everything so quickly. This doping story is a fiction, an excuse to deprive Kamila and the whole team of the medals. Just corrupt business and politics. The most disgusting thing is that the athletes themselves suffer the most, who are not to blame for all this. Valieva was subjected to enormous pressure at the Olympics, and the next two years became hell for the teenager. A disgrace to the entire Olympic Committee. Valieva *was clean* during the Olympics. Those who say that a 4-year disqualification is no big deal simply do not understand how short the life of professional athletes is. And it’s not only about the deprivation of medals from the Russian team and all Kamila’s medals since December 2021, but also about the fact that *Valieva can’t even train now, she can’t even perform in shows* sponsored by the Figure Skating Federation. The USA simply took away her awards because their athletes cannot even deserve bronze medals and they understand that they cannot compete with such a strong athlete!
