I don't think people fully realize what Trusova did here and what a character she is. My girl just breaks records like it's something so easy to do. To have such ambition, strength, durability, discipline, willpower... I can go on and on... To do five quads... It's gonna be a long wait for someone to even try to do the same and even longer to succeed. Unbelievable girl, lucky to witness her skating and proud to be her fan.

Sometimes I think we understand "artistry" in figure skating as being the ideal graceful ice princess. Now, what I like about this program is that it is more powerful and stronger (maybe more aggressive?) instead of following ballet-like aesthetic.

Alexandra is such a rockstar to me. If ROC team girls are all about beauty and grace, Alexandra definitely stands for fire and passion. Great job, Alex!

She did not win a gold medal but she won the world instead. This girl is a goddess. The commentators reaction at 2:35 is the only possible way to describe her performances. Long live Miss Trusova.

In the end, after all the quads, she really looks like she‘s enjoying herself. That‘s beautiful to see.
I love her music choice. She gives me a vibe of emancipation.

Highlights: first ever in women skating 5 quads in one program, 4 different quads, first ever two quadruple lutzes in the second half (in all FS disciplines, men's including). Noone else ever landed combinations with a 4-lutz in the 2nd half. Sasha had the highest base value of the program in all FS disciplines (BV=95.39. The second one was Nathan Chen with BV = 94.34). She produced the highest valued element in all disciplines: 4Lz+3T earned her 19.90 points; the second highest mark was obtained by Nathan Chen, 19.60 points for his 4F+3T combo.

i think what makes her my all time favourite skater is that she doesn't make it look gracious and delicate she makes it look powerful

She's, technically, already a true legend of figure skating, at 17..
Bravo, Sasha, my quads queen, powerful, brave and brilliant today, wish there're two gold medals, you definitely deserved one

For me, 3:20 is THE olympic moment. The smile after she knew she made history. The only performance that made me cry. This performance made me believe I can achieve everything.

Absolutely heartbroken for Sasha💔 She has fought so many years for this very moment. And she does it! I can’t even watch the scenes when she realizes her everything isn’t enough for a gold. What do you do with that? When you’ve put your heart and soul into the performance of your lifetime and it’s still not enough. I really do hope she wants to get back onto the ice again and continue to fight to win a gold medal at an important competition. She, if someone, deserves it. This time she didn’t get the gold, but what she did is that she made Olympic history by being the first woman to ever land a 4F, 4Lz, 4Lz3T, 4 different quads and 5 quads in total in one free skate. This is what we shall all remember forever. Well fought quad queen👑

It is a historic performance. She is so awesome, so powerful, just like the music she chose.
I really hope that we will be able to see her again at international competitions.

Trusova, Valieva and Shcherbakova are only rivals to themselves. No one is on their level. Trusovas performance was extraordinary powerful and spectacular, while Shcherbakovas was filled with elegance and grace

I just came back to see this masterpiece and i almost screamed when i saw how bad they were while giving her scores during the performance. Seriously, the first quad, which is a flip is perfect, I don’t get how they gave her a yellow in that, and the red ones…… I have seen worst jumps including falls with a yellow. She should have won.
