If only the Count remained a Jedi. What a man he was before the fall.

Dooku was honestly one of the best jedi I've seen
"we serve the people of this republic"
his anger coming from his altruism is fantastic characteristic.

“Corruption like yours must be eradicated”, such a great line. Sad that Dooku became even more corrupted than the corruption he wanted to so badly put an end to.

Mace Windu created more Sith than Sidious himself 😂

All that was missing was for Sidious to say, "Henceforth, you shall be known as 'Darth Tyranus'..."

Dooku has always been one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars universe. I love how he doesn’t just blindly turn to the dark side but has actual logical reasons for turning. It would make for a great show honestly.

It's cool how Liam Neeson's son is voicing the younger version of his father's character here.

Christopher Lee has apparently played 2 formerly good magical wizards turned to the dark side at this point lmao

I don't why but it's so epic when sidious says "you have done well, my apprentice l, rise my friend"

Dooku regrets he refuse Yaddle help. And he finally realize that he made a wrong decision so he ask Obi Wan to help him destroy the Sith but sadly Obi Wan refuse. Dooku is the key to stop Sidious, he knows everything and all he need is a bit of help. That's why he say something about Qui Gon Jinn "I wish he were still alive, i could use his help right now"

Dooku: (Deletes Kamino from the Archives)
Obi-Wan: So THAT’S why the archives were incomplete.

It’s so sad to see what Dooku was going through in his life as a jedi. He was never an evil person at heart with his intentions being motivated to fix the republic whether by needing the senators to change their ways or do a complete overhaul of the republic itself. Though motivated to do good for the people of the galaxy it still lead him down a dark path. I sort of wonder what the story of starwars would’ve been like if Dooku stayed in the light and tried to help in a different way, even if he had to do the Ahsoka route of leaving the Order and helping by his own means.

Yaddle's courage was immense in confronting Dooku, trying to talk him round, then facing him in a duel knowing she'd most probably die in the attempt. Yoda could never.

Qui Gon honestly struck a near perfect middle between Light and Dark and you can see Dooku strive to be a great Grey jedi

Dooku was not a heartless monster. He saw corruption and sought to stamp it out for the good of all, but ended up being corrupted by the very kind of evil that led him down the path of eliminating corruption.

This series really showed a tragic side to Dooku. He truly desired to do good and saw the Jedi order for what it was. Unfortunately, Sidious played Dooku’s desire against him and used it to corrupt him.

Bruh Yaddle has two chances to escape and literally chose death.

"What man is a man, who does not try to make the world a better place!" Count Dooku is my favorite. Not only because his real life actor is the one and only Christopher Lee, but because he truly wanted to improve the lives of people across the galaxies, wherein he faced the flaw with the both the republic and jedi order. The republic was an ineffective and corrupt, bureaucratic mess hampering real improvement. The Jedi order was incapable of doing what was sometimes necessary to stomp out evil, as with the bloodthirsty governor. More concerned with maintaining its emotionally neutral impetus rather than practice righteous indignation over barbarism and oppression. Dooku always felt like a grey jedi to me, neither jedi nor fully sith. He would've been my choice to follow, had he indeed had an agenda of his own seperate from Sidious'.

The quality of writing is so much better in these animated shows than what we have had in the sequel movies. Such a shame.
