Its Negative 1 Degree in Iowa | Hello Insanity

Iowa is the most insane weather state in America. We have the hottest summers with over 100 degrees in the burning hot sun with danger levels above that. Matter of fact, there are times in the summer that we are warned not to go outdoors.

Now in the fall, Autumn, we have beautiful trees and leaves that turn every color under the sun. The downside to that is we have to rake and rake and rake the leaves. I've been raking leaves for 40 years.

Now we have Spring and it rains rains rains and sometimes its still cold in March. I remember having Snow arrive in the month of Spring.

I love the Iowa weather.

Now Winter is the most brutal of them all. Its one season that just wont come down from being the monster that it is.

We have to go outside in this stuff and kids even have to go outside and play during recess time even if its 15 degrees.

Yes thats all it needs to be for our little ones to go outside. 15 degrees and they must play outside at school.

Bundle up your loved ones.

Anyway, as you see, today is minus 1 degree and I'm shamelessly cold.

Why don't I move somewhere warm?
