If you just want to play music, and your car has a cassette deck. You can buy a cassette to 3.5 mm headphone jack.

To all the silly people slamming the iPhone in comments - all the advices here apply equally to any smartphone on the market. But oh well, if you insist on using cassette tapes because "iPhone is iCrap" - its your decision.

Okay, even so. $50-99 vs. $20. Take a stab at which I'd rather do and which is less of a hassle.

What's wrong with a cassette adapter? Cost me $20 and works perfectly. I'm not shitting money, and I'm not about to shell out $300+ for a new stereo system or, heaven forbid, a new car. Besides, I'm in my car less than I am anywhere else. I just use it to go places. Why should I spend $300+ for a solution that suits my needs that costs $20? I don't get it.

If you think iPhone and iOS, are crap. Well, don't buy anything with it. There's a lot of options. :-)
