OMG JESS, you just solved a big mystery I had with my shop stats and traffic! A couple of times now my traffic/sales will be going (relatively) great and then traffic suddenly crashes, like practically overnight, though I hadn’t changed anything. I couldn’t figure out what had happened and it was so 😩. And then traffic randomly climbs quickly up again a few months later. I’d been attributing the traffic climb to my panicked SEO tweaking, but it must be FREQUENCY CAPPING! I’d had no idea they did this. Oh man, it’s terrible, totally trashes my sales volume which is not (currently) huge to start with. So stressful. Going off to dive deeper into learning about this now. Thank you so much for this video! I knew a bunch of it already, but that part was just 🤯
