First music video I put together ... may be a bit buggy (sorry if it is ...)

Well, after a little bit of consideration, I figured I'd create a music video in Honor of our Heroes (and also because I don't see any Radio Tower Remix music videos on Youtube). All the pictures used were ones that I placed in a specific order, in order of emphasis on particular lines of the lyrics. (**Note: The color of the text has no such effect/emphasis on the song - I just used different colors so it would be easier to see on different pictures)

A little bit of history behind Angel Flights:
If you did not figure out via pictures already, Angel Flights are the U.S. Air Force planes (C-130's) used to fly home our Fallen Soldiers. Angel Flight is also their call sign. In addition, Angel Flights have top priority in U.S. Airspace - as you saw the Towers say "number 1 for landing/takeoff" .... now of course, I know, there are other flights that have an even higher priority ... but in reference to other standard military flights, Angel Flights get number 1 priority.

"Heroes" - another term frequently used in the video is the term used to describe our Fallen Soldiers.

Here are some links to the actual Angel Flight vidoes:

And, also a GREAT BIG thanks to Radney Foster for one of the most inspirational songs to me!!
Any comments, questions, suggestions - please fell free to post below.

*******PLEASE NOTE: I have been asked by multiple people for permission to reproduce this on YouTube; unfortunately at this time I am declining from this option. My husband came home on an angel flight. I am so thankful for the men and women who take time to care and honor for our loved ones.

Somewhere between August 14th thru August 16th, 2007 (as near as I can remember; I was pretty fucked up emotionally) my son was brought home on the Angel Flight; I made it a point to go and thank the crew for bringing him home. I was too far out of it to learn their names, but I was SO grateful for what they'd done in bringing my son home to me and my wife, and our family. In hindsight, this had to be one of the most difficult tasks that our country would ask of any individual, and I'm so thankful for their service. May God bless each and every one of them!

Who still gets tears to this song. I come from a military family. We were lucky that none of my family had to take an Angel Flight. But a few of my family members were in the honor guard. They always talked like it was sacred, I didn't understand until I got to see the honor guard meet the angel flight.

I was at the airport in Billings, MT a couple weeks ago when a C130 showed up on the ramp. I knew that something was going on when a hearse and honor guard arrived. When they unloaded a flag-draped casket everybody was speechless. Truly one of the most humbling things I've ever seen. I wish every American could see it to truly appreciate what freedom costs.

My husband came home. This always tears me up when I hear this song and the TAPS, specially on my husband's funeral in 2016. He is a Vietnam veteran.

I rode jump seat on a cargo flight returning from Vietnam, carrying our fallen heroes, so many years ago. And I can't begin to tell you how humble and honored I felt, being there for 18 hours, in the presence of so many sacred hearts finally going home. Our nation has given so many in the fight for freedom.

I love this video so much. I played it several times for an old Colonel during the last days of his life on earth. He had flown everything, through 3 wars. He immensely enjoyed the tower parts and seeing the planes and above all the music. Thank you for the joy you gave an old guy that had served this great country for nearly 30 years of his life. I'm grateful.

I am not an American, but someone in the USA sent me the song and I double checked on youtube. I have also had this experience and lost good men along the way. I salute you men and pray for you. This is one of those songs that buries itself in your soul.

Im nearly 74 years old and a thtee tour, 2 war combat vetern with nearly 21 years of total service. Even now, it is those who never made it back to their loved ones, who I remember the most. Even with stage four cancer, I feel like a thief, being as I will be buried next to those I consider a hero. Those one and all who made the ultimate sacrifice for a cause, regardless if we believed or even understood why. It was enough that our country called. The best times of my life were spent serving my country.

I’ve seen this over and over again 😢. My thoughts and prayers are with all of our servicemen ❤ and their families 🙏. My father was Navy, we lost him 3 years ago. He was extremely proud of his service and always respected and reminded us of his service. God Bless to all 🙏❤️

I've had too many of my buddies fly this flight.  I can't listen to it without tearing up.  Brings back too many memories.

I saw a soldier kneeling down,
for this was the first quiet place he had found.
He had traveled through jungles, rivers and mud
He'd tasted sweat and shed his blood.
He folded his hands and looked to the sky
I saw his tears, as they welled in his eyes.
He spoke to God, and this is what he said
"God Bless my men, who now lie dead;
I know not what You have in mind,
but when You judge them, please be kind
when they come before You, they will be poorly dressed
but they'll walk proudly, for they have done their best.
Their boots will be muddy and their clothes all torn
but these clothes they have so proudly worn.
Their hearts will be still and cold inside,
for they have fought their best and did so with pride.
So please take care of them as they pass Your way
the price of freedom they've already paid."
AMEN!
&
LEST WE FORGET!

(This poem is for everyone to share and enjoy!)

One thing I will never forget is standing on the flight line in Afghanistan at attention- salute raised as the caskets of the fallen were driven by with the flag draped over them to be loaded on the back of a C17. No one on the line moved until that plane took off into the dark, too many friends given to the angel flight.
