Fun fact: these guys copyrighted all the videos on my old account when I used copyright free music but still linked the song in the description. My old account got shadow banned and I made this one and I’ve gave up on content creation ( can I just say thank you to everyone who subbed. Y’all got me back on my feet and I love you all)

This is extremely scary. I really feel bad for the musicians that fell victim to this. As a musician myself (sorry for the plug gotta give a first hand perspective) I don't mind my songs getting reposted. Credit or none. I don't have content ID on for a majority of my (older) releases. It's claiming the music for themselves that really gets me heated.

This is exactly why YouTube copyright infringement sucks.

What’s even more messed up is that they would copyright strike it and they hired people to do it🤦

fun fact: Pewdiepie’s songs also got claimed without his permission and the company just say that it’s on behalf on Pewdiepie. He wanted to let the community use the song for free but couldn’t even because of these fraudsters. So sad.

I can’t believe there are people who get 20 years in prison for stealing 500 dollars and then there are others who get 5 years for 23 million dollars

The reason frauds buy expensive things is because when they get out of prison they can sell all of their things and still have money

For those who don’t know they created a company that would post songs but would copyright those who used them. (They did not own these songs) then they would sue and make fake accounts to gain the scanned money. Then the owners of these songs started to catch on to them. They gained 23 mil from this. They were later sentenced to 5 in jail.
