The good news is Tommy John surgery is not in his future. The other news is the surgery he's going to need, hasn't been invented yet. Shouldn't be a problem getting it named after him.

He is maximizing the mound height and his back has his back in the sense that it disguises the delivery until the last moments it's cool.

When you look at the slow motion of his delivery and stop it at the point he releases the ball, you will notice that he is essentially throwing sidearm, but has bent his back in an usual position. Tyler Rogers bends his back the other direction and throws sidearm to get his submarine delivery. Really cool delivery. I hope he has a great career. It would be fun to watch in the Show.

I hope he does well. I do remember seeing one pitcher with a much weirder delivery. He strode with his throwing-side foot, believe it or not. Not surprisingly he got hurt and I never heard about him again. Or, maybe it was a dream.

Cant get more over hand than that.. After watching several times. What makes it look awkward is that before he comes around with the throw is he is shifting his body slightly to his left as hes about to release.

This actually might not be bad. Puts most of the pressure on the legs and back and not the arm.
