To Devein or Not to Devein. The decision to devein shrimp is basically a matter of personal preference and aesthetics, not hygiene, and the vein is not harmful to the human body if eaten. ... Most cooks will not bother deveining medium-sized or smaller shrimp unless they look particularly dirty. So, calm down people. Do it if you want or don't. I really don't care. Just know that you're already eating shrimp that isn't deveined in most restaurants anyway! 😎

Followed this recipe including the hot sauce mixed in with the egg. I added a bit of old Bay to the flour mixture and after the double batter I added a third layer of panko bread crumbs. Absolutely delightful.

My mom tried this recipe long time ago and we all loved it back then.
Yesterday I told her to apply the same recipe and She couldn’t remember it so we sat down and searched the internet to find this video again and I am so happy we found it. PMGK, I just made this "Crispy Fried Shrimp - Southern style, it came out fantastic. I followed the recipe but made one change. After the egg wash, I added some corn meal to the flour, (for the double coat) it was Enjoyed very much and I will call it as "Rich Man's Gourmet Kitchen" because Shrimp is expensive. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
