Fun Fact: Kay Vess was actually going to be in the original trilogy. However, Lucas scrapped her scenes when he realized she could just punch the Death Star out of orbit.

The second senario was extremely realistic, i too would ignore my guard duties and not hear my buddy getting beaten up if a cute little creature did a tiny dance.
