i dont think paimon will betray the traveler in that way, like she's secretly evil. i think paimon will try to sacrifice herself for the traveler or she's secretly a tool for the traveler to unlock his full potential, it's either save paimon or save teyvat. paimon is a mystical being as we all know and i think she's connected to the primordial one, maybe an incarnation. but the thing that weirded me out the most is that when talking about humans and gods, paimon was never acknowledged. like in scaramouche boss fight and the apep cutscene and many more. like she's not even thera at all.

it was heavily implied that her creations were not meant to be as corrupt as they were, with albedo being a good example, and that something had went wrong that had caused them to get out of hand. (another show of this is how Durin perceived the world and himself)

My theory: Paimon is the primordial one that lost power due to the fight between The Second Who Came in Celestia. She fell and lost her power which then she confined herself into a smaller form. She journeys across Teyvat with traveler in hopes of helping him get stronger so that she may regain her throne. People who say she doesn’t remember anything at all is completely just guessing because in the Wriothesely Story Quest. The black gem holds nightmares and Paimon saw something we couldn’t *see* so she probably remembered something of the past that terrified her. Probably her fight in Celestia. 2nd, on the current last Archon Quest in the Chasm. Yanfei, itto, shinobu, even the traveler opens this mysterious door which holds their “nightmare” it was suggested Paimon should try opening the door but she refused. In my conclusion shes probably hiding something from the Traveler and will reveal it to him at the right time. Last theory: Second Who Came is known for impersonating the Primordial One. Im guessing the Second Who Came tried to remove all evidence of the Primordial One from Irminsul? Highly unlikely because Nahida is the only one we’ve seen with the power to enter and remove someone. But if thats the case it could be a reason why the Heavenly Principles were easily fooled.

Nah. I think it will be either we go to either Celestia or Khaenri'ah first, or we retrace everything until we're back in Mondstadt. Then everything starts from there.

This is based on how we deal with the Archons and possibly Tsaritsa too. We will make her into a warm ice again and that's where we start to go to the two paths above.

I think Paimon will be the endgame boss, not because she's the unknown god, but because she'll realize we're leaving her for the next world and want to keep us in Teyvat forever

I have an unjustified theory that Paimon is not the Unknown God, but instead a parallel to her who was drained of her power and fell to the ocean only to be saved by the traveler. And once we do face the Unknown God, if we do, I think Paimon will help us fight her, or sacrifice herself. If not the latter, I still think that if she tries to leave Teyvat with the Traveler and their twin, she will be held back and have to stay.

I think we’ll have to fight Dainslief at the end of the game. in the tevyat chapter trailer features Dainsliefs narration and at the end he says something along the lines of “if you can best me in a fight, Than you way try to save her” I’ll be honest I don’t remember exactly what he said but everyone ignores that they spelled it out for us

My personal therory is that Paimon is not purposely leading us on. Due to her choppy memory, she doesn't explicitly remember her orders but is subconsciously following the orderss she's been previously given. In that case, paimon does really love and care about the traveler and would probably break when she realizes what she's been made to do.

My theory is the final boss will be the unknown god and she is trying to kill us but then our abyss twin saves us and kills/defeat the unknown god. And I think Dain is going to play a big role in the story

But what's funny is Alice is literally friends with Gold (latest mondstadt event). And even Venti knows her since the Hexen-afshdfghjkl had close ties with the anemo archon. Very interesting ending lore

My theory was that either gold's creations weren't bad to begin with they were meant to protect but got corrupted by the abyss, or she made them with the intention of being good, but maybe something went wrong with the formula and they got messed up and basically escaped the lab or smth

The story has been slowly becoming darker and sadder. So by the endgame people are going to weeping with tears. The games has been hinting a lot lately about Paimon and traveler relationships. And how what would happen after traveler and lumine decides to leave to another world. I suspect that Paimon has lost a majority of her powers and near the endgame she would reawaken her authority. So I can imagine that in the end Paimon would be the one opening the gates out of Teyvat allowing the travelers to left a new world.

Okay I get people are like saying that paimon might be the unknown God.. But I have a another theory, what if paimon was actually the DAUGHTER of the unknown God? Except she good? And the reason she decided to follow traveler is because she probably had a feeling the traveler might have the potential to take down her evil mother when paimon couldn't.
