GENSHIN IMPACT | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Today we have something very special. On this day we archive one of the fastest growing and popular games of the last few years. When I first heard about Genshin Impact I mainly heard the negative opinions on it being a gacha game that is mainly about waifus. Therefore it took a while for me to make a plunge and see what this game is all about.
Now that I have sunk my teeth into this behemoth of a game I can wholeheartedly say that Genshin Impact was one of the best and most fun games I have played and that many of the negative comments do not hold up. The real star of this game is its world and its graphic design. Each character is designed more beautiful than the others and everyone oozes detail and craftmanship. The world then is so colorful, stylistic and gorgeous that you want to keep exploring and exploring. Every rock, tree and mountain can be climbed and the freedom you have in this game to explore is fantastic. Each time you find another treasure chest or another upgrade material or another challenge. The music in places like Mondstadt are so relaxing and cheerful that I realized that this game automatically made me happy and relaxed whenever I was in its world. Its an open world RPG where you can either play hardcore or just take it easy. Want to go do some story quests and fight some bosses? You can do that! Want to go explore the town and see what secrets you can find on the rooftops or alleyways? You can do that! How about some cooking or crafting? You can do that too. And sure, there are other RPG games where you can do this too, but very few in the scale and in a world so beautiful as Genshin Impact.
The one thing I dreaded the most when I started the game was the potential grind and repetition when having to upgrade your Adventure Rank in order to progress in the main story. Though there was indeed some grinding involved, which was my least favorite part of the game, it was not as bad as I thought it was. I never had to grind more than 1 day and there were enough activities to do in order to gain experience to level up without doing the same thing over and over. Each time I went to a new location and a new story arch I was amazed by the gorgeous new landscapes and characters with Inazuma and especially Sumeru being the ultimate highlitghts. The writing and story also become better and better and I love what the writers are doing with the main quest. The timeloop story in Sumeru City was amongst my favorites and can easily compete with stories in other triple-A RPG games. And the best thing about Genshin Impact is that its all free to play. Everything you see in this video can be done without paying and it is therefore one of the best, if not THE best free to play game out there.
You might have noticed how positive I am with this game and that's because it shocked me how much I enjoyed this game. How much of a contrast it was to all the negative things I heard about it. Probably the only ones who will not enjoy Genshin are those who do not like the anime vibe, but for those who are into role-playing and adventure games, Genshin has something to offer for everyone. Genshin Impact is without a doubt the biggest surprise I have had this year and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this game. So join me and Paimon on an epic journey you will never forget! This particular video will cover the main story all the way up to the Sumeru story arc and in future videos I will cover the Fontaine story.
