I honestly was considering the macbook air 15. I backed out and got the Book3 Ultra instead to slot into my Samsung eco system. I appreciate the macbook air launching in 15 inch. Honestly though, Apple could've easily launched that last year and given people the option then to choose the bigger display. Now people who wanted an air with a bigger screen will either need to upgrade or just deal with knowing their screen is smaller despite there now being a bigger one out there.

I think the 15 Air comes with extra GPU cores, in addition to the speakers, larger track pad, larger screen that you mention.

The price hike is what's making me question what to buy. I'm even considering the M1 Air for the savings.

2 extra cores, bigger battery as well - but same battery life. Only get it if you need a bigger screen.

I have a Mac mini and I’ve been wanting a laptop but I don’t know if I can justify it considering that my M1 Mac mini does everything I need. I do miss the portability though. Maybe I’ll wait for M3.

I needed a laptop. I already have a Mac Studio. The MacBook Air 15 M2 is a great travel Mac. Thin and light, but with a nice size screen. The extra $$$ for the heavier MacBook Pro is not worth it to me.
