The Problem with the M3 MacBook Air

The 2024 Apple MacBook Air M3 is a decent spec bump but the prices are tough to justify.

Went to buy the M2 version at the spec I wanted for the same price as the base M3 one… And then found it was discounted due to the M3 just coming out.. Bonus.

In Canada the only one that's affordable is the m1 and that's only because of recent discount because of the m3 release. So in Canada a M1 costs $999, M2 $1299, M3 $1399. So it's a lot less affordable here

I bought the M2 with basic specs at Costco for $799, Amazon has it for the same price too. I only need it for basic stuff. Worth it for the M2. Save me a few hundred bucks!!

8/256 is phone specs, and they have arm chips, and soon most likely they will get a sim slot, and make it a phone

In Germany, we pay 230 € for the upgrade to 16 GB Ram and also 230 € for the upgrade to 512 GB SSD
