Just made this and tweaked it a bit. Two cloves, a little ground cayenne, a little smoked paprika, 1/8 cup red wine and a can of San Marzano tomato paste and I am having troubles not just eating it with a spoon. Stoked for pizza tonight.

Did someone say pizza! 😊🍕... Don't make N.Y style too often, but when I do I use the same recipie as you did.
I use a stick blender or I use a food mill for my San Marz. My sauce was turning orange with the air from the blender so I threw it away! Haha😂 I like it deep red... Can wait for your pizza.. Gratzi 🇮🇹

I have two questions regarding the sauce for NY style pizza. 1. Should the sauce be cooked/reduced? Is sugar/honey used in the sauce?

What about adding only one anchovy filet to the recipe?

Food processor is better than blender for this.
