I have a 218, 000 mile 2011 Accord with the 2.4, can vouch for it being reliable. I've done basic maintenance the whole time up until 200k
I've only replaced the blower motor, wimdow switch, and alternator. Did it all myself, will happily vouch for their reliability

I have a 2012 LX-P Accord with under 70K miles. It's just 4 cylinder but that's enough for even long distance freeway drive. It runs great and smooth. It's like a budget Grand Touring Car for me. The safety rating is 10 out of 10. I didn't have any problem with it since I bought it and I really love my Accord.

I drive 09 LX-P, bought it used in 2012 and still going strong in 2021. 204K miles only had to do front breaks for $230 last year no other maintenance. It drives like brand new

Bought a used 2010 EX 4 cyl 3 years ago, 80, 000 miles. Bullet proof. Change the oil, replace the brakes and it goes forever.

Hey Mike, awesome review video! My wife has a 2008 Accord LX (base model, least amount of options available) with the 2.4 I4. It has been from Texas to Virginia multiple times with 118k miles, and still running strong! Very well maintained interior, exterior and mechanically. To anyone looking into a 2008-2012 Accord, they're great vehicles, especially for the price. Don't be afraid of the 2.4 4 cylinder, its a great engine with decent fuel economy. It may not be the fastest, but it is reliable and healthy. If you find a 3.5, I would hands down go for it, but keep in mind, they're all around great daily drivers. Once in a while, I'll take her Accord to work over my 2018 Honda HR-V with an anemic 1.8l.

had a v6 6speed manual coupe for a while, best car ever drove was fast as hell, leather seats, seat warmers, big sunroof
too bad they're not making the v6 or manual anymore

One thing I always thought was really neat on these cars is how you can roll the windows down using the remote.

My 2009 Accord is a V-6 like this one and has 72000 miles. Looks brand new inside. Cruises along the highway like a dream at 75 mph @2300 rpm. Hardly working. Best car I've ever had and hope to drive till 2040.

I love my 2011 Accord V6. Fun to drive, fast.. and has a timeless design inside and out... I got a few mods here and there to keep it feeling/looking new & fresh, even tho it's 10 years old lol

Every other car reviewer YouTuber copy Doug Demuro but you don't which is great.

Is the 3.5 liter V6 a new engine on this 8th generation Honda accord replacing a 3.0 that was on the 7th Gen

I have a 2009 2.4lts VTEC model. has this annoying rumbling noise in the back wheels (passenger side), I changed the entire hub assembly a few months ago but the noise returned.

I own a 2012 v6 accord coupe and it is not fuel efficient at all in city driving which is 90 percent of my driving. Having a heavy gas petal foot obviously doesn't help plus waiting in drive thru lines really uses up a lot of gas. If you want good gas mileage defiantly get an I4 version ( You won't have to worry about changing the expensive Timing belt at 100, 000 miles). The V6 is great for passing power, ( and gaping many cars that think they are faster cause you're in an Accord) but expect to lose a lot of MPG unless you strictly drive on the highway very conservatively.

Got a 2010 EX-L V6 sedan 90.000miles a few months ago . Super reliable and fun to drive car . eco mode on the highway shuts off half the cylinders for better gas mileage but when you want to floor it really moves .kinda like a sleeper
