You guys said that you can use it for sparking flint but you used a ferro rod

Because striking a ferro with the saw blade can damage the temper and, consequentially, the saw, I sparpened the spine of the caplifter to 90°for use with a ferro rod. It is way thicker and doesn't get as hot.
