For example, I use it at 90% (almost constantly) and I never charge the battery to 100%. I always keep it at 80% with AI dente. How long does it take to cycle using it like this? That is, how often do I need to drop it to 20% and then bring it back to 80%? Every month or every 2-3 months? How should I use the Mac?

Exercise the battery yes, but never ever below 20% or above 80%. Exercise between 20 and 80%. Batteries hate 0% and 100% and heat.

Is it safe? Or I can just plug out before 80% and plug in before 30%? Is it safe to do that?

Doesn't work while sleeping or just me? I plugged in my laptop at 50% set max charge to 70% came back a few minutes later and it was at 73%. Didn't stop charging.

Will your setting still remain in place when the system is off? If I set it to 70% and plug the power in, then turn off the machine is it still able to limit the charging?
