I cant believe the time has finally come where i can officially say that my salvage 2017 Volkswagen Golf R is finally rebuilt! After watching some of my favorite YouTubers Like Mat Armstrong, Goonzquad, BackYardBoyz & Tavarish rebuild some of their favorite cars. I decided that I would give it a shot! In todays video i will be unveiling the final step in rebuilding the car, which is getting it painted! I cant believe how far ive come and im excited to figure out whats next! Now i just need to sell it!

I've really enjoyed your journey rebuilding this Golf R Hayden, and I think you've done an amazing job. It looks awesome! Personally I would keep it, but I love Golfs, Lapiz Blue R's in particular. But I also think you should carry on rebuilding salvage cars, you clearly have a talent, and you've learned and awful lot of tricks and hacks about dismantling. I've enjoyed every video and I take off my hat to you. Well done, and I look forward to a future video. PLEASE KEEP IT!!!

Killed it man, drive it for at least a month. Nothing like that feeling of I did this! But I get the wanting to sell and move on to the next adventure.

VW GANG. Way to go! Great to someone with no car repair experience tackle something this huge. I’d love to see the process of getting it transferred from salvage to clean title & what that takes. Didn’t you mention earlier in the series that you were rebuilding this & giving it to your girlfriend?

Great Job! Being a part the VAG Group and forums will push this awesome car along to its next owner. Lapiz Blue is a Gold R specific paint color and is very desirable by many potential buyers. DSG does have a faster 0-60 time and also a want by many. Hope to see a new project sometime soon.

What a journey it's been! Just amazing work, it looks great! As much as I would like to see you modify it and keep it because it is a great and fun car, I also would like you to keep going towards the next project

I wouldn't sell it. I would use it for a runaround. You have put a lot of work and effort into getting it OEM. OK, have a look around for another build. But I would hang on to it for a while. You have made it look amazing.

Great job! Regarding the adaptive cruise control, did the error return / stop working after you coded it? As I’ve been told mine (same issue as you) needs to be professionally aligned / coded?
