I bought the cheapest Audi RS6 i could find which just so happens to be crash damaged. Its super risky buying a crash damaged car as you never know what you're going to find but i took the risk & i needed to get this car rebuilt and restored as fast as possible for one very good reason!

So nice to see a Youtuber actually complete a project in a single video. I hate watching a 30 minute video and then have to wait a week for part 2 lol

Meanwhile it takes me 24 hours to get out of bed 😂

It's taken me like 8 months so far fixing similar damage (no airbag or windscreen dmg though) alongside other stuff. 😅 Definitely heaps of work, depending a lot on how much you buy parts vs. fixing them and painting (oh boy).

What I am loving at the moment is that Matt is really involving his dad with all his projects which is loverly to see some proper farther-son time together and mr Armstrong snr seems to really know his stuff and seems a integral part of the team so long may this relationship carry on in the future ❤️

We hardly see these in the USA as no one likes wagons for some reason. So nice though and can’t wait to see it finished and possibly in SEMA…

Those are pre-facelift headlights, but they are full LED and require different plugs and coding to work, and you might need additional modules on the car to make it work, depending on what cameras they utilize for the automatic high beams. Kufatec in Germany can sell you the components and give you the coding to make it work.

OMG the rs6 wagon is my ultimate dream car, and for all the reasons you listed. Was so nice to hear someone who gets it. I also love buying damaged cars, fixing and reselling so it made this video like the perfect storm. Cant wait to go watch what happens to it next, keep up the great work. <3

My dad use to help me with my work as well. He was a legend. Sadly he’s no longer with me and I miss him every day, not only for his advice but his practical skills too.
Mat you’re one lucky guy. Love your content

The new headlights you fitted are still for a pre facelift, difference is you now gone from xenon to led. With requires new plugs, extra wiring and other modules

I love seeing your dad having fun and working along side his successful boy. Enjoy the time you have with him because many of us would give anything to have moments like that back.

I think you need to click the wheel change option in the dash Matt, to stop the air bags inflating as you lift it up, you normally put it in this setting when changing a wheel

Absolutely love how this guy can just get shit done in 1 video. Big fan of how Mat actually tells us the price of the build to make it seem more attainable for people like me 🤣😭

Mat, you three are legends! I have to tell you how you gave this 48 year old Mom of 2 teenage boys, "street My son is wanting to update his stock BMX bike for his birthday in a couple weeks. It'll be his very first project of the sort. He gave me a list of things he wanted (New forks, wheels, tires, handlebar, grips, pedals, seat and custom paint job) and said "I know you don't know much about cars or bikes, so here's my list, but don't order anything without me checking to make sure they're right!" I started to laugh and told him "You do know that I lived a whole life before you right? I used to buy cars and modify them, put new custom wheels and tires on them, do custom paint jobs, and put amazing stereos in them! I've had so many cars I can't keep track of them all!" He looked at me and asked to see pictures and was shocked at the sheer amount of cars that I owned. I then showed him your channel and told him how I watch you weekly, along with a few others that rebuild cars, and others that do custom painting. He looked at me like I was someone he had never seen before! I suddenly was a cooler Mom just by him seeing you were a BMX rider AND rebuilt awesome cars. I've been with you since you had about 100k followers and I've loved watching you grow to where you are today. You're my absolute favorite and I appreciate you, Hannah, your Dad Tony and everyone else who helps with your projects and videos.

Thanks so much for bringing me a bit closer to my sons. You made me a very happy Mom today! ❤

The light situation is a bit messy with the C7/7.5… those you ordered are the pre-facelift full-led lights (they were the first full-led lights in 2011), which do however require different wiring, same with the actual facelift lights. For the rear you can rewire the lights from the facelift if you prefer them, it’s not that difficult of a job.

Good luck with the awesome build!

An RS6 is still number 1 on my bucketlist, since i was 9 and saw (and heard) it for the first time in Munich. Throughout the generations of the RS6 they just became more and more beautiful (imo).

Glad that they mentioned retaining the air on gas, yes it’s a pain to get it recharged, but it should be recovered properly if it’s removed, some of the air con gas HCFC are 2000 times more damaging than CO2 so small amounts do make a difference….they are also expensive…keep up the videos Mat you are inspirational.

Thank you Mat. These videos definitely motivated me to buy a crashed car and rebuild it. When you work on it and fix it, the fun you have after is extraordinary.
