If i finish the set and i am 1-2 reps from failure, that is perfectly fine. I dont have to lift extremely heavy to accomplish that, higher reps and intensity is more important.

When you are new it’s best to start easy. Wait 24 hours and see how it feels. I documented my exercises and the weight used. I scored each one with perceived difficulty. Some exercises that were marked as easy left me sore the next day. Once your body is more experienced you can def do what this guy is saying.

False you can generate hypertrophy from as low as 6 reps up to 30 so long as you're actually getting close to failure you can grow

Bruh, I do 30 secs inbetween sets (12 reps), if I can't do that I probably need to go lighter (and I didn't hit 12 reps more then likely).
