RAW vs JPEG: Explained

Should you shoot RAW or JPEG, and why? I'll explain why a RAW file offers greater editing ability than JPEGs lossy compression but also requires editing and takes more space on your SD cards or hard drives. By the end you should understand the differences between the file types and be able to choose the correct one for the situation.
