When I first got my DSLR I shot with JPEG and RAW so it saves both. And I just got Lightroom and Photoshop so now I can switch to just RAW. but shooting with both as a beginner is definitely nice, but it takes up more room

When I switched over to digital, I was the hell is raw..., now I know, I always shoot raw in everything I do. I just think of raw like a 35mm film negative, ready to be developed, to the way I like. Nice video by the way.

I’m just beginning my photography journey. I accidentally put it on RAW before my friend came over and forgot to change it back during my practice shoot. Anyway, I’m glad I did. Editing was pretty cool.

Good video. I started shooting and processing film and prints in 1975. I got into digital in recent years. To me, a raw file is like a film negative. Post processing is like taking that negative into the darkroom and creating the finished print. For me, the creative process is the same, just different tools - without the chemicals 😊.
