So proud of Yusef Salaam. A living example of triumph and grace. All the very best from a fellow American living abroad.

This young man is so gracious. I'm so thankful he is still here to see that those who hurt you, God will handle your business for you.

I have rooted for this man and his friends for all the years they suffered wrongly and since. I am in awe at how much he (and they) have done and continue to wish the absolute best!

He speaks so beautifully. He made me cry
He is what we need in politics. Serious, well spoken and real life experience
This is the standard we need to uphold not race, religion, gender or who you love.
It is about fulfilling our purpose

When he said that he's his "ancestors wildest dreams and not their nightmares", that was one of the most powerful statement I think I've ever heard in my life!

This is one of the most remarkable victories I have witnessed in all of my boomer years. My smile is wide and my eyes are filled with tears as I listen to his story. My heart is joyous and determined. I know that We the People, will persevere until there is liberty and justice for all. Peace, joy, hope, and blessings to everyone.

This man has class, grace, integrity and is way more gracious than I would be.
I'm not religious but this gentleman shows the best of what religion should be.

My heart goes out to this wonderful, eloquent man who was so deeply wronged. Inspiring to hear that he has made the most of his challenge. I'm not sure I could have handled it.

The trauma this man experienced as a teen very few of us could have withstand its negatives effect. I hope all members of the #exoneratedfive continue to rebuild their lives.

Profoundly touched by this man’s story. It’s a life-affirming tale of courage and the resilience of the human spirit.
For all those in a similar peril, know that the night is darkest before dawn.
