I am having my 70th birthday next week. Yes, I’ve tried denying the years. Then, I made the decision to use all the precious “things” I have been saving. Your tips are spot on! Life is good! Our God is great! What many blessings I have to enjoy. Thank you for your videos.

I am late enjoying this video, because I have had my granddaughter until late the past few nights. I LOVED this, Kay! Thank you for reminding us to enjoy the life we have been gifted, and all the ways we can do it! ❤❤❤

What a special video! Really enjoyed it. With everything going on in the world — and now war in Israel pointing more and more to the end times — we really do need to slow down, take time to make things special for us and our families. The Lord wants us to enjoy life and care for others. It’s nice to be reminded! Thank you!

For the past 35 years my husband and I sit down with a glass of wine and a few ordeurves (sorry about my spelling) every Friday afternoon for our own "Happy Hour". Its a great time to talk about our week and upcoming weekend plans or whatever is on our heart. We have come to look forward to our special time on Fridays. I even see him dress for the occasion!! Thanks Kay for this special video. I have enjoyed it.

You are so right about quiet. It is totally underrated, but so useful!

The one thing I can definitely do. We have back roads all around where I live. And some of the sights are very pretty. Coming home the other day there’s one spot that you are up high and can see the valley down below. I was looking to see if the trees were changing yet. They weren’t the then day. But I’m sure they will be soon. It’s finally cooling down here. My life is pretty east everyday. My husband and I are both retired. So we’re always together. Sometimes that’s not a great thing. He overthinks everything. And I don’t. I have no worries. And he worries about everything. So opposites do attract. We’ve been married for forty five years. I like some alone time. Because we live in the country we don’t have visitors. Like we did before we moved. And I kind of like that. I guess I’m becoming a hermit. But I like peace and quiet.

Hi Kay I loved this ‘Romanticising yourself’ video today, it was so Beautiful and Elegant and Gracious, very much like you Lovely Lady . I loved your morning routine ❤️And I loved your beautiful table setting and how it brings so much pleasure, this took me back to 1985 when I left office work and before I went into nursing I got a job as a Healthcare at an Elderly Retirement Home for Elderly Gentlefolk, this is exactly what it said in the job ad, the Home was run by Nuns and they were wonderful to work for they also liked everything done properly, my last job of my day before I finished at 4pm was to set the Tea tables with beautiful China and cloth napkins and always some flowers or at least 1 bloom from the garden, I loved this time of the day, so Thank you Kay for bringing back that memory❤️
My morning routine is Exercise, then my prayer time, then meditation, once Im dressed and have an hour or so chatting with my husband and my herbal tea and water I then go for a 3 mile walk which always involves Nature. A couple of my treats include Beautiful notepaper/envelopes, every month my lovely Friend who was once my Boss and who now lives in the Convent in Ireland writes to me on beautiful notepaper and I do too to her, in this day of texting and emails its so lovely to receive a letter. One of my other treats is to use my china tea set once a month ( I got it for my 1st Wedding Anniversary 39 years ago) I set it all out for my fruit scone /clotted cream/jam and have my Cream Tea. One of the other things important to me is mine and my husbands Date Day every Sunday ❤️. So Thank You for all your beautiful tips Kay Xx

I bought a whole pack of beautiful handkerchiefs on Amazon and they weren’t very expensive. I put them in every handbag.😊

Hi Kay Thank you for a great video on how to live each day mindfully. I live in Wisconsin and I hear a lot of people moaning about upcoming fall and winter temperatures but I have found this time of year a time to take a deep breath and relax. Early dusk is a wonderful time to slow down and appreciate the color of the early evening sky and the eventual leafless trees. I love winter trees. it's like seeing the soul of the tree with a beautiful filigree of branch designs. You can also see birds more easily.

I LOVE the idea of making things excellent! Even if, as I do, you live alone. I enjoy decorating my home, and have been organizing my closets. It's so nice to open the closet and see things in order, and getting rid of the things we don't wear or use. I also think it would be great to bring back "letter writing", at least occaisionally.

Romancing yourself. Good idea! Love it! I love my solitude. My tranquility. A positive sense of well being can go a long way. God’s world is so beautiful. Stop and enjoy it. I take pictures of the sunrise. It calms me and lets me appreciate the upcoming day.

I loved this video, Kay! Just an idea...how about a video on how to slow down and experience the Advent season? I am always looking for inspiration to make that time meaningful and celebratory.

If you like bergamot, Kay, you should grow the showy flower called Bee Balm. Monarda is the Latin name for it. Their leaves are what Earl Grey tea is made of and they are used in many cosmetics for their scent.

I do quite a bit of your tips. The one thing I do everyday is make our bed. The last few months I get up and take my first med and then make my husband’s side of the bed. Since I have to wait an hour for my next med and to eat, I will do my “me time.” I get back in bed and check email, our local neighborhood Nextdoor site, FB and YouTube videos. Having half the bed done definitely encourages you to finish the bed. I will fix us a lunch and go to a park with our chairs and book. Us time but still doing individual choice reading. We also have a lot of back country roads where we live and do those quite often. Especially during COVID.

Thanks so much. My sweet husband will be retiring in 6 months and I can't wait to slow our pace down and have quality time together. Great tips❤

Last winter I used my handkerchief collection for the first time. I put a handkerchief in the pocket of every coat and jacket I own. I have been able to offer them to friends on a hike. If I have to cough at church, I cough into my handkerchief. I highly recommend doing this. It has been surprisingly pleasant and handy. When I hand someone a clean handkerchief, they smile. And I make sure my handkerchiefs are folded so that the person knows it's clean.
