Great stay over the weekend at the Tower House!!!. Great meeting you Matts and really sweet setup you have there. The topwater bass action was pretty awesome on the fly rod, and that firepit was bomb, looking at stars and doing smores!

Nothing like having a place you can have your family stay and being able to fish. That pond was nice and fishy!!! Oh and having that rowboat to use was great to be able to fish it everywhere.

My son is so excited. His first duty station will be near Sacramento. All he can think about is going to San Francisco to crab and fish like you. @13:13 I think it's a spotted bass. It's somewhere between a LMB and SMB. the way to tell is to rub the tongue in the mouth. If it's rough, it's a spot.

Yes man!! Been a fan for about 4 yrs or more now .. I’m from the south and pretty far from the ocean so I mostly fresh water fish. Glad we’re now fishing for the same thing!

Nice spotted bass. The size to keep fish depends on the lake. Usually a size of 12 inches is the keeper size for bass.

Looks like you caught a spotted bass/small mouth hybrid towards the end of your video. As for transporting live fish, it's illegal to transport and release fish into a different body of water. The concern is introducing invasive species or disease into a different part of the state. Plus spotted bass and smallmouth don't do well in small ponds. They generally require deep, cooler waters compared to largemouth. If you want larger bass in your pond, consider culling of smaller fish and making sure they have enough forage to eat

Hopefully no one ran just regular oil in what I suspect is an Ford 460 in that Winnebago. Needs a high zinc oil for the slider camshaft & lifters otherwise it will wear out the cam lobes and the valves wont open very far or at the right time. Not to mention all the ground up metal flakes into the oiling system. It's a good idea to remove the distributor and prelube the whole engine with oil by turning the oil pump with a hand drill (you can buy a tool for this or make one from an old distributor.)
