I have a question: i have one 3yo chinchilla male and i want to get him a friend. The thing is, he is missing fingers on his left paw and im afraid the other chinchilla will kill him because of it. We just bought two gerbiles this week and one of them had an eye infection and next thing i know the healthy one had eaten half of its friends head, brain and eyeball included.
