I really liked Geno and Niko! They are so unlike many of the participants on this show. They were very polite, respectful, appreciative, mannerly and they really tried their hardest. When they didn't actually reach their goal given by Dr. Now, they took full responsibility for not doing so and worked harder the next time. That speaks volumes about their character. Good luck Geno and Niko, I really admire you!

1:30 this is the problem. She considers saying no to highly processed and sugary foods as "depriving" her kid. You can feed your kid as much as you want. Just don't let them inject themselves with poison everyday.

My cousin was like this. His Mom let him eat whatever and whenever he wanted. In my home we did not do that. My cousin was 6ft tall and weighed about 500 pounds. In his 30s he got the lap band surgery. He lost about 250. He has done well. He is in his 40s now. Breaks my heart to see parents do this to their children. It is the parents fault. They can stop the child from eating. Shame on You Mom!! In a way this was child abuse. —

Damn. I was like 60 pounds when I was 8. I was teased for being “fat.” I couldn’t imagine the struggle being 200 flippin’ pounds at that age.

Do NOT blame it on being Italian. I had lived in Italy and NEVER met one obese person. Never. Italians have a respect for food and a balanced life style. In Italy everybody walks and uses public transportation in general. IMO, morbid obesity is an American problem. Here are the stats:
The United States ranks 12th in the world for obesity. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), approximately 36.9% of American adults age 20 and older were obese based on 2015-2016 data. 37.9% of men and 41.1% of women are considered to be obese in the United States. Quite sad really.

That's 100 percent parents fault. My step sons get mad because I won't let them eat a bunch of junk. And the younger one has started getting a mouth and found out the hard way just because he's taller doesn't mean he's bigger lol.

I eat like I’m 600 pounds sometimes, yesterday I had 4 huge plates of food at once. But to eat like that all the time is wild.
