I am THRILLED by my channel's growth and subscriber base, by the way! I receive *awesome* comments on all my videos and my channel is over twice as large as I projected. But I do like to joke around 😉 thanks everyone!

EDC is whatever you routinely carry with you for almost all journeys.
Good gear. Some I carry, some I wouldn't. That's the fun of these type of videos! Very happy to see a large med kit. As you say it needs to be big!
I have a back pack half filled in case I am on transit or away from home and something happens. I have a car stuffed with stuff so two of us can bunker in at work for 2-3 weeks. When we retire there will be much less in the car at that point.
Maybe add in some trash bags, water purification tabs, and those collapsible water bottles? Most events you'd have the ability to fill up from a tap early on. Later on you can use the tabs. 4 litres is okay but in Summer and if having to walk and dodge you'll get thirsty!

I'm guilty that I don't carry enough EDC stuff.
I always have my gun, extra ammo, flashlight and stuff like that; but I need to really step up my game on food and water.
Thanks for the video; and I also enjoyed your light-hearted humor throughout it. :)

LMBO! "I become a legitimate prepping channel by talking about EDC"
I about fell out of my chair when you said that! :)

In Germany we cannot carry guns and knives are regulated too. A good addition would be zipper pulls and small shopping bags. I allways have toilette seat covers. A scarf is warm and also a weapon.

As a concealed carrier, I also always have pepper spray with me. In some situations, spraying and running might save you a lot of legal trouble. I don't want my firearm to be my first and only option. Of course if I'm in imminent threat of serious bodily harm or death, I'm pulling my gun.

As a woman who stopped carrying a purse over a decade ago, I find it interesting how many men have a "man purse" or "work bag" now. My on person EDC in the Summer is limited to my key ring, cell phone, pocket knife and sometimes a gun. In the Winter, I have more options because my coat has many pockets. Like you, my car is always nearby. My EDC bag remains in my Jeep in the middle console. I also have an extensive car kit in the back.

Hope your channel gets more recognition. You have so much good, interesting, solid info to offer. It’s very nice to see an educated, well-informed young person take life seriously. My EDC is in a bag in my vehicle....and my whopper-size purse goes w/ me in and out of every store, etc. Thank you for your perspective!

Nice bit of kit, i need to get some food and water put in the car for sure. I guess the only flaw is that the first aid and trauma items are away from your person (you might not survive the trip back to the car to put on that tourniquet if you are stuck in an active shooter situation for example). And a whistle, always carry a whistle ;)

Very well communicated video. An "EDC" item I keep at work is a bicycle. It would reduce my 30 mile walk in a degrading social climate to a 4 hour ride. On occasion I will do a split commute driving 2/3 and cycling the rest. I know I can pedal through or around downtown Charlotte in twenty minutes.

You might want to put a cheap headlamp in your first aid kit.
A leather money belt is also usefull. I have stuff to open locks, money, a liquid free button compass (probably more, haven`t opened it for a while).
Have a map and a compass you can see at night in your pack.
I like to have at least a small swiss army knife (recrut) on my keychain. For things in the forest a huntsman is way more usefull.

"Legitimate prepping channel" LOL! I think you have to do some boring gear reviews for that, too. *eyeroll*

I just re-did our EDCs. Was given a very small backpack that my 5 year old will be able to carry, so I could space out some more kids items into her backpack. Her older brother has one already. So they each get their own now and boy is that a load off! I do think I need to pare mine down a little and put more things in the "car bag". Somehow things creep into mine and it's not cool. Most of the time the kids leave their bags in the car when we go somewhere, but I'm trying to get them into the habit of not leaving the house without grabbing your bag.

The only additions I have in mine would be some granola bars, a lockpick kit (I have a friend who is a locksmith), extra gallon ziploc bags (I have children and those are perfect puke catchers! My daughter gets car sick easily and sometimes it lasts awhile, even after we've gotten out of the car), everyone has a lightweight pullover or button up shirt in theirs, a couple of those cheapy little fiber masks, and I have a whole little mini nail kit from the dollar store since it contains a tiny pair of scissors and nail file as well as the clippers (I've actually used this more than you'd think and for non-nail emergencies), and I do keep a few mini items of things to keep children entertained.

Have you seen the Bianchi speed strips? They offer a couple of benefits that might be better than regular speed loaders in some situations. I use both. Good video!

Well your on your way to the big leagues now with after doing the EDC video!!! hahahahaha I was LMAO when you said that. You have to up your gun porn! Revolvers are so last century. You need a pistol, with a light and a laser and special sights and a trigger job and a special holster (your holster may work but it is not cool). Thanks for sharing and appreciate the humor!
