I can't be the only one who saw "Adam Savage's Everyday Carry" and immediately thought holy crap this dude even has a CCW?? ...I'm not that surprised he doesn't though, one man can only be so cool. Plus its California afterall.

It's a realistic and respectable EDC.
Unlike all these other EDC dorks that carry 40 titanium tools they never use and probably carry 5 bottle openers.
Sorry fellas but when you start carrying 300 dollar ti pens and pry bars you are just accessorizing like a rich girl.

My EDC is fairly basic: phone, wallet, folding knife, flashlight, pistol. That will take care of pretty much any common emergency. However, because I live in Texas in a city with no public transportation, pretty much everyone has a car and it goes with you everywhere ... so I turned my little S10 truck into a mobile emergency vehicle. The space behind the seat is FULL: Robust first aid kit, water, non-perishable emergency food, emergency tools, robust survival kit, tent, etc. Armageddon could happen, and as long as I'm within walking distance of my truck, I'm set.

I was looking at the space pens after watching this and saw a recommendation for a machined metal pen. A pen is something that I would love to see Adam build in a One Day Build video

Super nice edc. I carry similar items: a moleskine volant xs leather wallet with built in pen loop and fisher space pen, Streamlight flashlight, omega seamaster, iPhone 13, benchmade Bugout pocket knife… etc

Adam is smart keeping a notebook and pen despite having a cell phone. I always have a few sheets of folded up paper in my car that I stuff in my pockets with a Zebra collapsible pen. You never know when your phone will fail you. You always assume a little bit of risk when you keep absolutely everything on your phone's notepad software.
