WHAT AGE IS TOO OLD TO START BOXING AND MMA❓

Ever look at Bernard Hopkins of Randy Couture and wonder if you can be the next one to break the mold?

Before you start mean muggin some of the patrons at Denny's show some respect for your elders, they may be up to bat for more than a grand slam😁💥🥊

All jokes aside this should give you some insight as to what is acceptable and what is not age wise to compete in boxing and anime amateur or professional‼️

I just started boxing at 24 and I'm going into my first amateur fight next weekend and hopefully I can turn boxing into a job

I am 45 and started boxing training 8 months ago, 2 times 3 hours every week. No regrets, in good shape.
Always wanted to learn how to defend myself. Great sport to evacuate stress and relax your mind, plus complete body workout..
Did some sparring when it was still possible and hope to keep up on amateur and recreational level with the younger lads, without them have to hold back, learn and improve my technique, , when we can start again in the ring after corona times.

Never too old unless you want to be competitive or professional

Brother, I am 17 I did boxing for 2 years and then i had to pause boxing for 2 years cus of covid and the fact that my coach got into some serious issues with his mental health (which 100% respect to him there is no harder challenge in this world than ur mind) and now I wanna start again. I ain't gonna ask if I can make it to the pro level because that literally up to me and god and how much work I put in. But at the end of the day if you work ethic is there than you can make it no matter your age, and there isn't an exeuse cus I have 3 A level to revise for plus 2 jobs so dont use that exeuse.

So basically, before 20 is ideal if you want to go pro, but you can join at any age below 35-40 to get into the pro ring. If you are doing it for fun and also as an exercise, then any age is fine as long as the doctor gives you the thumbs up

My friend Oisin Fagan started pro boxing close to 30. Very little amateur experience (2-3 fights?) and ended up take Julio Cesar Chavez Jr the distance in a close fight and losing a split decision to Paul Spadafora. He also fought Amir Khan. I boxed amateur as a teen and am 32 now. I haven’t competed since 2008 but recently found new life in Bare Knuckle. I feel better now than when I was 16 but you can’t put the whatever before the whatever?? (How does that saying go?) no partying, don’t chase the women, align every day and you’ll get where you’re destined to go.

I just started Muay Thai training a month ago as a 31 year old. My only regret is I didn't start this earlier in my 20's, but I like to live by this saying, "Better late than never."

I'm 21 and started Muay Thai a month ago. I have the ultimate goal to go pro in MMA which would eventually take about 6 to 10 years. But it's worth it!

I got back into Kyokushin at 38; that was three years ago. I'm turning 41 this month and looking to start boxing in two months. I'm hoping that I can complete in Masters Division in 2023 or 2024.

enjoying the channel, great vids coach. I started boxing at 43/44 after watching my kids take wrestling/boxing classes for nearly two years (I just had to try it). not planning to compete, I just really enjoy going in for my session, getting feedback on where I need to improve.. then going back on non-class days to try to polish out my mistakes
