Rob kindly asked me which mission from the original USNF campaign was worthy of remaking as a bonus one to the first 10 he already completed. So I pointed out this one. Rob added some additional tasks that needs to completed after main targets are destroyed and which I failed to accomplish on this run...

I have to admit I looked into the mission editor to check which targets I had to hit. I guess having a screenshot from the editor map with marked both targets on your kneeboard would be more helpful.

Finding the fleeing guy is pretty hard. Maybe it's the draw distance problem? Who knows. I will have to look at the mission in the editor once more to see where he spawns exactly and which route he takes and have another go at it.

Overall it's really fun and well done mission. Possibly one of the best from the remade ones that I already flew. I know I still have 9th and 10th to go through, I will get to them eventually.

For the last mission in the campaign I thought that it should be difficult. Therefore I made it so that you had to do a little detective work to figure out which buildings to hit. The dwindling fuel tanks also puts on extra pressure, so it’s not easy.
For the escaping car, you went straight to searching for the car with your targeting pod, forgetting that your two eyes are much better at detecting things. It’s very typical that we always rely on technology when it’s there, even if it’s not very helpful. For your draw distance comment; yes all flight sims will have a draw distance issue, because you are trying to reduce the real world to 1080p on a tiny screen, the resolution and FOV will not be realistic at all. I recommend for realism to use DOT Neutral under labels when playing DCS, but the same is true for all flight sims.

Are you the one building these missions, or someone else? Are they built close to exactly like USNF, or is it more of a "inspired by" type of build?

Hi, was inspired by these to try the campaign myself, however the CAM mod link doesn't seem to work anymore, always times out. Do you have a current version that you'd be able to link? Appreciate your channel either way 👍
