DCS World F-16C: The Gamblers campaign introduction with John 'Rain' Waters

Welcome to the Gamblers campaign!

This short training video will tell you everything you need to know and set up before flying the campaign once it is out (currently scheduled for May 2024).

John "Rain" Waters, host of the @AfterburnPodcast will guide you through the basics of setting up the HOTAS, using radios, fencing in and out or following the Fighter to Fighter briefing.

In 13 varied missions the player will relive some of the sorties that Rain and his squadron mates flew during their deployment to Syria, as well as some of the other most iconic moments of the allied involvement within the theater, including the Battle of Raqqa in 2017, the US TLAM strike against the Shayrat Airbase and the standoff between US forces and the notorious Russian Wagner group, which is now known as the “Battle of Khasham”.

This campaign also introduces a new, more immersive way of interaction for the player with the environment using the HOTAS that practically completely eliminates the use of space bar or F-10 menu.

You will require a copy of #dcsworld, #f16 for DCS as well as Syria map to play this campaign.

I like DCS camping that give you a tutorial as you go instead of leaving you hanging and trying to figure it out by yourself.

Very nicely explained. After viewing Spudknocker's playthrough of a mission, I was curious to know how that menu on the right worked. Now I know; with that unused switch.

Looking forward for this campaign. Glad to see some QoL elements implemented, like the game recognizing the action of switching radio freq (which I first saw in Sedlo's missions/campaigns for some time now), also love the idea of the bindable cockpit switch instead of F10 to interact - this will increase the immersion somewhat for sure. Also when are you going to announce the winner of the cover contest competition ;)
