I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t like that car, that car is gorgeous!

It feels like Toyota was trying to show Nissan how it should have designed the Juke

Another amazing review, great work guys! Just one thing to mention as an Ex-Toyota/Lexus service advisor in Darwin, one thing we found for the CHR's in terms of ownership was that, compared to other more mainstream models like the Corolla, Camry, Prado etc, the CHR has really weird Tyre sizes, and therefore it would always cost owners like 3x as much to get their tyres replaced than most other models - perhaps this was also contributed to due to our remote location in Darwin, and such uncommon tyres as CHR tyres were not stocked readily in Darwin all the time, but I'd imagine it would be a similar story down south. So yeah, just some potential value to add to this video, if you're looking to buy a CHR, make sure you're getting the best price possible on tyres as they can be very pricey due to their uncommon size. Cheers

I just purchased a 2020 C-HR Limited yesterday and so far I am in love with it! It’s perfect for my want of a larger vehicle from a hatchback without too much of a jump. I’ve never had these safety features before, I feel so safe and comfortable!

Well done! I have a 2019 CHR XLE with TRD performance part here in the States. I also love the way it looks. It is my daily and I have had ZERO issues with it. It does take me a long time to wash it because I treat all the plastics on the outside and it has a lot of exposed plastics but after 5 years of daily use, the car still looks and drives like new. Actually there was one issue when things were not displaying correctly on my dash board but that was because the battery was going out (I have a 2.0 liter non hybrid) and the issues were fixed with a new battery. Again there is something to be said about that legendary Toyota quality. I looks forward to having this car for a long time to come.

An interesting used review. I have a 2019 model, 1.2 litre turbo with a 6-speed manual. Purchased Feb. 2020. I’ve had no issues at all. It isn’t a road burner, but with a manual transmission I can get the most out of the engine. And in sport mode, I can get a little extra pep. On long trips I have managed 4.8 litres per 100 K’s. Very good on fuel. Overall, I’m still very happy with it. I would have liked to have seen a mention about the manual, and what the mechanic thought about the manual too. Otherwise, an interesting review. 👍

The fact that you gave a real michanic to explain about mechanical faults is very appreciative.. No other car reviewers do that..

These are everywhere on SG roads! Both the 1.2 turbo and 1.8 hybrid.
Some are even riced out with a large FK8 TypeR-like wing with bumper brake lights. Some have body kits which makes the car look ridiculous. But if modified properly, they look really amazing.

1. Our JBL read loudspeaker system simply failed (replaced under warranty) The 12v battery failed in less than 4 years. Towtruck driver said this was happening a lot. New batteries have a warranty. No on-road problems of any kind.

I owned a 2017 hybrid C-HR for a few years and when the opportunity arrived, got a new 2021 CH-R GR Sport 2.0 hybrid. Almost 50k kms later I'm still very happy driving it every day. The 2.0 has adequate power, the JBL sound system is great for long drives to work and I love the interior. I will testdrive the new C-HR, but I doubt that I'll decide to swap my current one - the price hike look too insane at the moment :/

I love mine for these reasons:
There is only limited number of these cars left. They had very short production cycle. Will be worth a fortune one day.
Unique look, inside and out...no other car out there like it. It turns heads.
Fun to drive. Feels like a sports car.
Toyota reliability and dependability.

I wouldn't say I love mine, but it's a very good car. Lots of kit, a good look, economical and reliable. Not super quick, and not much room in the back or the trunk/boot. The infotainment system is aweful, but I use my phone. Only one USB port. Nearly 50k miles and no issues. I need more luggage space and 4WD, so I'm upgrading to the RAV. But, if the CH-R is right for you, it's a good choice.

I've only just started seeing them on the roads here recently, and I'm in love. I will say my corolla is 15 years old, with 300, 000km on it, and am considering trading up to the c-hr honestly.

I did buy one, a 2019 pre-facelift version with 1.8L hybrid engine, eCVT. No regrets so far. It is indeed not the fastest car, but it gets the job done very well.

There is a little teardrop piece that goes in the cup holder near the arm rest, to help prop smaller drinks up.

I've had the 2019 LE version for a couple of years now. Not the fastest/ quickest car out there but I've never had issues passing people or merging. I love this thing so far.

There's no good news in the back seat, it's a sea of depression and misery back there. It's like Toyota took a ride in the back of a CX3, and said, hold my sake, we can raise the suffering level.

This C-HR and the Honda Crosstour are my two favorite-looking small SUV-things by far
