I started the video and my husband said, "I know that music!" He knows you are my favorite sewing teacher.
I live the idea of the pre-cut kits. I am going to be on the lookout for those!

Several years ago, I got a container of 100 cookie cutters from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but I don’t know the price. The grandchildren use them for playdoh, and I use them for appliqués.

You always make me smile! I will give it a try to do some applique. I used felt to make western vests for my grandkids. It sewed easily and does not ravel when I cut the fringe. 😀

Our Dollar Tree store doesn't carry much in things to make templates.
I was looking for the leaf you showed in another video. I am so disappointed....
Great tips on this one!

You are so clever using those circle templates. Thank you for showing how you do it.

Another good way to make simple templates is to buy clear cutting mats from Dollar Tree (they come 2 in a pkg) and use children's coloring books with simple pictures in them. You can see through the mats to trace the shapes.

My hubby thinks I'm crazy for saving different things for their shapes. I think he's finally realizing after all these years, they are just junk, they are very useful. I'm making a pumpkin pot holder now, from the wooden pumpkin from the dollar Tree. I'll post it on Fb when done. Got to use upnall the Fall fabric I just got on my shopping haul. Thanks for the tip.
