Iris Easy Flip Review

The Iris Easy Flip is currently the only simple flip phone sold by Consumer Cellular. While we appreciated the Easy Flip’s low price and simple design, we were disappointed that it lacked the smart features of the Iris Flip, the phone’s prior iteration.

My 84 year old fil has always hated any phone! So for the last 8 years, he's had an iPhone.
Now, he has tremors. He holds the touch screen and finds that people do not find a 3:15 am phone call entertaining!!

Just got the EASY Flip. Installed new Sandisk 128gb micro sd card. Doesn't work. Invalid. Bought another 128gb micro sd card. Doesn't work. Says it's "invalid". Sandisk comes formatted exfat. Does it have to be formatted Fat 32? I called CC ... no help. Does the phone itself format the card? ... and yes - it was very carefully installed.

I bought this thing for my husband who has dementia. I figured it would be easy for him. NOPE. WHO decided that the speaker button needed a second step to act as a speaker? Why, when you press contacts, do your favorites come up first and you have to dance around to find all your contacts? My hubs can't use it. His smart phone was easier for him.

Bought for $42 at Target today for my mother. Seems to fit her needs. $19 per month with AARP discount and auto pay.
