After I went through Make Electronics, I went on to the second book; Make More Electronics. I highly recommend these. I did have to order parts from Amazon, Digi Key, Mouser and Jameco.

Wasn't a big fan of Practical Electronics for Inventors. The first chapter started out slow and promised to be practical and simple but then the proceeding several hundred pages were full of theory and heavy math with little to no practical examples. I was trying to learn what an inductor was and it took me 20 mins of reading through heavy calculus and complicated terminology before I even had the slightest clue what its practical application was. It's a fine reference book for engineers and anybody interested in theory but its title is disingenuous.

So what should I pick The Art of Electronics or Practical Electronics for inventors, I've seen both books Pdf and Art of Electronics looks like a bit tough than Practical Electronics for inventors. But Price of Practical Electronics is way more than art of electronics..? What to do?
