Remove Vinyl Siding.. Porch To Room Project Vid #1

The first step to convert this porch into a room was to remove the exterior vinyl siding. With just a little bit of construction demolition the vinyl came down easily enough and enabled me the opportunity to examine the framing and general construction of the existing roof structure.

When removing the vinyl siding I encountered many lizards that were hiding in the vinyl spaces. i must have got over a dozen lizards and moved them to safety. Stayed tuned for other videos showing this porch to living space room conversion project. Building a room from a porch is a great way to add living space to a house.

Excellent series of videos! Now i got a clear picture on what is required to build.. Thanks a lot for these videos. Very helpful... May I know what is the size of the room. my situation is almost same with 12*12 without demolishing the brick wall. If you have some idea can you estimate what would be a reasonable price to get this done with a contractor, I am getting crazy quotes but needed a low ballpark number or I might have to consider doing myself with some help from others. Thank you.
