And we, the young generation, thought he was only shooting hooks.. meanwhile he pulls up from midrange, shoots runners, fadeaways, dribbles the ball at 7’2! The media does not portray him well he is way more versatile!

If Wilt was the most powerful center of all-time, and he was, then prime Kareem had the softest touch ever for a man his size and probably for any center. In his prime, Kareem was basically unstoppable. He had the shooting ability to hit shots from much farther out but why bother when nobody could stop him 15' and in. You could easily make a case for Kareem being the GOAT and that's no exaggeration.

Not nearly in the g.o.a.t. conversation enough...greatest high school basketball player ever...lost 2 games in college, won 3 national championships (freshman couldn't play then)...6 NBA championships, 6 MVPs & the most unstoppable shot in the history of the sport, with the scoring record...he was incredible!!!

“Kareem, we need you to:

- shoot from the right
- shoot from the left
- offensive rebound
- defensive rebound
- block
- assist
- dominate

One more thing: we need you to do it over and over and over and over again for 20 years, both in the regular season and in 100’s of playoff games, including 11 championship series, winning six! You need to also remain humble and grounded throughout the process. While you are at it, become a civil rights activist, a champion for equality, and a prolific writer while off the court.”

Kareem’s response: “Sure thing. You got it. No prob.”

Mount Rushmore. One of the true GOAT’s.

His prime is literally his entire career. Dude was dropping 20+ from year 1 to year 18, every year. No wonder he's the all time scoring leader

"I'm underrated, but that's ok." Best summary of his personality.

If you were lucky enough to see him play in person, as I was in the Boston Garden as a teenager, your jaw would drop when you saw a man of his height move like a ballet dancer. His footwork, balance, grace, elegance were unforgettable.

Kareem’s the greatest basketball player ever, from high school, college to the league.

This dude mastered the tear drop as a 7 footer. That's nasty and you aren't blocking that. People aren't seeing how agile he was. He was 7'2 and looked like a 6'7-6'8 SF type. Way ahead of his time.

He plays a lot like Tim Duncan except that he has a skyhook and is taller. I can see why Duncan is Kareem's favorite player.

Kareem’s touch is pure poetry in motion. Simply beautiful to watch. Perfect shooting mechanics, footwork, and power.

My favourite player of All-Time. The skyhook, the most unstoppable move in basketball history.
I really think people forget Kareem when talking about the best players.

Karim said, "I can do fine. I can be a use to any teams."
Humble guy and didn't drag himself to be called the GOAT.

Look at the GOAT Kareem highlights. The most disrespected GOAT in any sport. The man currently has the most points and soon to be 2nd and 6 MVP's and 6 titles and yet...there are people that disrespect him. Also lets remember he stayed in college all 4 years.

Dude had one of the most dominant and unguardable shots in NBA history if not the most unguardable of all. Nobody today, yesterday or tomorrow could guard that and it is insane. He’s wildly underrated.

He is like a 7’2” Durant and Giannis combo with off the charts Basketball IQ

Wow that almost made me get emotional! He’s definitely underrated with his 6 rings and 6 mvps and the whole thing about him being tall was so true. People need to appreciate Kareem more especially for how long he lasted as a top big man.
