This is the only generation I can remember in my entire life where Sony has raised the prices of their hardware and software after launch instead of lowering prices. The PS4 Pro launched at the same price as the base PS4 and the base PS4 got a discount but now the PS5 Pro is $700, over $1000 in Canada, this is absolutely insane. I've completely fallen out with Sony, I haven't touched anything related to them this generation and adding the PSN requirement to their PC games keeps swaying me away.
