Thanks for these tips. I was getting frustrated trying to pair my Sony WF-1000XM4 just as you said. Now they work on my other device. Why don't manufacturers give us simple instructions to follow, this is where you come in!

To reset the WF-1000XM4 Place both earbuds in the charger case with lid closed. Next ..plug in your charger. Quickly open the lid five times until you see the case flashing red. Then it’s reset.

WOW! I followed sonny's guide and they would flash red but never really reset! You saved another almost lost soul!

I have various makes of Earbuds, as well as phones, Tablets etc that I connect to them. So factory reset is usually the first thing I look for.
You must have that problem times 10, regularly! I do appreciate you making this video, because these situations can drive people NUTS.

Dude, you are a genius. I spent hours trying to reconnect my WF-1000XM4 earbuds to Bluetooth after I purchased a replacement left earbud. At first, only the right bud worked. I eventually forgot the device from my iPhone's list of connected BT devices. Then I went on an odyssey of finding solutions. I reset the network connections, viewed several YouTube videos, followed the instructions from the owners manual, and nothing worked. Then I found your video, followed the steps, and I was able to reconnect. Thank you!!

A million thanks to you, sir!!!!🙏🙏🙏 I was so frustrated with the pairing of my new Iphone 15 pro since it had paired with my old phone. My new phone can't find my Sony WF-1000XM4 at all till I found you😀. Yes, you are right, I just had to put both ear buds in my ears, and press the top of both of the ear buds for a few seconds. And then they said pairing. That's magical. Thanks❤❤❤ I don't care if I will need to watch any of your other videoes, I am subscribing.

I didn't knew what was wrong with my buds but your solution fixed it

I think the XM3 also sometimes has a problem where only 1 of the buds connects while the other one doesn't want to. Usually I have to put them back in the case again and then put them in my ears again before it works. Sometimes it takes a little bit more effort.

I think my left is really dead, (In the case) Resetting flashes red, but doesn't go green.
