Cooking up the best tasting toasted quinoa recipe

Looking for the easiest way to cook quinoa? We have found that toasting quinoa first, before cooking gives it a great taste. So here is our simple but tasty recipe for cooking (toasting) quinoa.
Toasted Quinoa Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Quinoa
- 4 Cups of Water
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil

Directions:
- Turn on stove burner to Medium-High heat
- Add Olive Oil and stir in Quinoa to pan
- Stir Quinoa for 3-5 minutes, you may here a few pops from quinoa as it toasts
- Slowly pour in the water, careful as initially hot steam will be created.
- Mix water and quinoa together, wait for to come to boil.
- Cover and reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes
- Stir quinoa, if there is still any liquid cook for an additional 5 minutes
- Remove from heat, and move to a storage container
Quinoa is good for roughly 5 days, you could freeze a portion to extend the length.
