When I was young there was a local black dude down the road that did something similar here in NJ.

I was a poor hungry skinny little white kid that ate maybe a few times a week.

I would collect pennies anywhere I could find them. Then go somewhere and buy candy or other cheap foods. I would even eat dog food my mother bought for our dog.

Anyway one day a friend had a plate of chicken and sides. Asked him where he got it. He said some black dude down the street, and it was free. So I went down there and saw him and a bunch of his family and friends doing a bbq.

I was super apprehensive, as I didn’t want to get yelled at for being there. But my grumbling stomach pushed me forward. Dude saw me and instantly knew I was a hungry unfed little dude. Called me over and gave me this giant plate of food.

Dude was a saint man. So Ty to this guy here doing it as well. No really. It means a lot to some of us. Some of us don’t eat for days, and an awesome home cooked meal is a gift from the heavens.

So Ty man. Some of us never forget that 1 act of kindness. Many blessings to you and yours.

For those who don't know, this is a modified Argentinian grill, you can find them online, but modifications are up to you to retrofit a propane line and burner, if you guys get his info or anyone else who's done this, just ask them how to diy it.
