If you ever tried Korean tried seaweed, I can say Gamtae is the upgraded one with better flavor and richness. It is also better for your body health. Best to have it with well cooked rice and bit of soy sauce.

The chef on the 10:30 is the owner of the restaurant called 'Mingles' and I really recommend to visit this place if you have a plan to visit Seoul. This place is also recommended as one of the best restaurant in Asia.

I had something of mix between miso and cream cheese on this restaurant. I thought it was very weird combination as other Koreans would also think but it was absolutely stunning.

I got the privilege to try this from a different restaurant in Korea. It was like a 5 course meal and they've had Gamtae and rice like how we wrap Gim (seaweed) in rice. The way I describe the experience was like it was the first time I've had a bite that was perfectly balanced in taste that was harmonous to each other. It wasn't like 50% salty and 50% sweet. It was like they were one with each other like how Christians describe the Trinity. I forgot where I went to experience this but if you ever have the chance to in Korea, go try this out. The texture and taste of it is worth it from a chef that knows how to properly utilize it.

You can also imagine like the seasalt Sanji from One Piece anime experienced in Waterworks arc from the old man that makes stirfry. A sea salt comparable to "All Blues". The Gamtae is truly an amazing thing.

This strand of seaweed looks so delicate and vibrantly green. To be enjoyed seasoned fresh or in dried form I could already imagine the bite texture and taste must be amazing.
