I wish I learned this when I was younger. It's almost as if I forgot where my keys are. I also notice how little to nothing I utilize my ring fingers, typing the S and the L are so frustrating now... A huge positive is how it brings spelling to the front again.

When not in touch typing mode I can hit 90+ wpm easy, but I always have to stare down. With touch typing that number drops to like freaking 30 wpm but the fact that I don't have to lower my tunnel gaze onto a keyboard makes it sooo much more satisfying. It feels like a super power. I just gotta master a proper layout.

This is they way that they taught us to type in school. They put a cardboard box thing over the keyboard and you weren’t allowed to look at the keyboard. I use to cheat. But now I touch type without even trying.

I type around 70 wpm with just moving my fingers all around the keyboard. I did take a typing class for touch typing as well as we learned in primary school, but I've always typed the way I do lol, I really need to learn how to start using homerow though.

1. Type normally for about a year, till you learn your keyboard and where the keys are.

The vast majority of Keyboards do not have coloured keycaps but you can get some online if you want.
