can someone tell me what exactly happened? all i saw was the car hitting something and everyone fell

theres a boom(pole that sticks out over the pit) with air lines, the team that got closelined didnt have their lines pulled up all the way. and the car caught that line with its massive rear wing! u can see how the other teams had their lines up tight in the end!

I don't even know what got caught with the car. It looks like a rubber tube for gas but I just didn't actually see it connect. Freak accident for sure.
