iirc he hit a squirrel in the last corner and broke his front wing. he came in to the pits to get it replaced but since there was no time to radio it in they obviously weren't ready for him.

What a loss. Davidson was running P3, got unlucky as the car struck a groundhog.
On the other hand, Sato had a brilliant race - overtaking Alonso with 1-2 laps to go - for sixth place.
Biggest points and finish for Super Aguri (a team that was pretty much built bcos of Sato).
