Hi friends!
Here's an early post for you as you slow down your evening to prepare for Monday.

We're going to be talking about intergenerational trauma this week and in this video I'm going to talk about 8 ways you are impacted. I don't think we're aware of how much trauma impacts us until we begin to feel the residual effects.

Childhood trauma often stems from older generations and impacts families for years.

I welcome your comments and questions!

Helpful resources:
1. Adult children of emotionally immature parents (book by Lindsay Gibson)

3. Dr. Simon on predatory aggression:

Wow! I’m finally sitting with unhealed parts of myself. It’s been the most fulfilling and devastating time of my life. But I’m glad I’m getting the help that I longed for as a child. This video confirmed it for me❤️ Thank you

my mom got away from her family and later joined the Air Force. i think that's how we broke that spell. my grandmother left her memoirs to us and i got to see that trauma that she and my auntie went through. it was then i got to understand my mother even more.
